Pendle Hawkes; would never have thought he was particularly special. He lived with his parents and sister, Jocelyn, and went to school like most people his age. To be thrust into a world of time travel, future wars, and mysteries to solve was the last thing he ever expected he would have to handle, but through all of it, there were moments of happiness, sadness, and even trauma that he captured in poetry, usually written on the go and filed away, mostly just for him to read.
This book captures those poems and a few words around them and gives a tiny window into Pendle and how he feels about what he experiences on a journey he couldn’t help but be changed by.
