Two cases closed for the Tempus Detective Agency, and they’ve only just begun.
Not only does Tempus get its next case, recovering a prized bronze cat statue for Ms. Reba Barsoff, an airline industry heiress, but Pendle Hawkes must also aid in the dangerous and calculated war of the future, along with the resistance faction We The People.
But luck seems to be on Pendle’s side, this time around. He gains a third time traveling ability, one which unfortunately exhausts him with constant use. Pendle also learns that his younger sister, Jocelyn, possesses time traveling abilities of her own. But, Pendle will need more than luck to survive a future war, solve another mystery and protect Jocelyn from danger. Don’t worry, he can handle it.
